News: Open For Business (COVID-19 Update)

A business update from Paul Miller, VP of Sales at Precision Record Pressing regarding the situation surrounding COVID-19.

By Paul Miller

After a brief voluntary closure to safeguard staff against COVID-19, our manufacturing facility reopened with enhanced safety protocols on April 13.

Our plant made the decision to close on March 19, giving us three weeks to implement numerous distancing and sanitation measures before welcoming our team back to the facility. Precision Record Pressing continues to follow the latest advice and guidelines from all levels of government in order to ensure the wellbeing of our staff and community.

In light of the current situation, we are updating our turnaround times from 8 to 8-10 weeks for all new orders until further notice. Many projects will be completed within our normal timeframe of 8 weeks, but two additional weeks will provide the necessary buffer to accommodate changing logistics in our supply chain.

We’re acutely aware of the disruption that COVID-19 has brought to the livelihood of everybody in our industry. We hope that our ability to deliver vinyl to artists and record labels provides some stability for our community, and an outlet for everyone to enjoy new music from home.
