News: Contributing To The Local Community (COVID-19)

By Simon Daley

Update: Precision Record Pressing contributes $20,000 to two local charitable organizations, as a result of our team’s efforts in April and May 2020

From Ernie Addezi (VP Operations):

With COVID-19 negatively impacting so many lives within our community, Precision Record Pressing wanted to do our part in some small way. We decided that for the months of April and May, we would allocate a small monetary value for each record produced within this period. Our employees were excited and engaged and ready to do their part! We are happy to announce that Precision Record Pressing was able to contribute a total of $20,000! This week, Diandra Giannattasio (HR Manager) and Ernie Addezi (VP Operations) presented Robin Bailey (Executive Director) of the Burlington Food Bank and Glenn Harkness (Executive Director) of the Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club of Hamilton with each a cheque for $10,000! We are beyond proud to be able to support these organizations and the work they do in respectfully feeding the hungry without judgement, and in providing a safe supportive place where kids can experience new opportunities and develop confidence skills for life.

If you’re able to, we encourage you to also make a small donation to our chosen charities at the links below.

Precision Record Pressing has proudly created a fundraising initiative at our Burlington, Ontario facility in order to help local charities in the wake of COVID-19.

Led by Shawn Johnson (President) and Ernie Addezi (VP Operations), the initiative will donate 3¢ per quality-approved unit produced at our Burlington plant during April and May 2020 to two local charities, up to a maximum donation of $15,000 (CAD).

Our nominated charities are Burlington Food Bank, who are supporting the local community during these challenging times and the Boys & Girls Club (Hamilton), who provide essential programming for young people during the upcoming summer break.

During April we accumulated over $7,500 towards the fund and fully expect to hit our goal thanks to the hard work and dedication of our entire team.

If you’re able to, we encourage you to also make a small donation to our chosen charities at the links below.
