News: Women In Vinyl Launch New Podcast

Women In Vinyl launch a new podcast with the aim of amplifying the voices of women in music and pulling back the curtain on often misunderstood areas of the industry.

By Simon Daley

Groundbreaking website Women In Vinyl has launched a new podcast, aimed at continuing the conversation around increasing gender diversity within the music industry.

Back in May of 2020 we spoke with Jenn D’Eugenio, founder of the Women In Vinyl website about her motivations for starting the awareness initiative and what can be done to increase gender diversity within our industry. Now almost a year later, she has teamed up with friend of Precision Record Pressing and regular WIV contributor Robyn Raymond to create The Women In Vinyl Podcast, with the aim of amplifying the voices of women in music and pulling back the curtain on often misunderstood areas of our industry. Jenn explained further in the announcement:

The Women in Vinyl podcast is meant to enhance and expand what the platform already exists to do, facilitate conversations with those working in the vinyl record industry to educate, demystify and diversify the vinyl community.
