OSEES and The Reverberation Appreciation Society announce a new vinyl record release, benefitting live music venues affected by COVID-19.

Back in September 2020, LA-based rock band OSEES performed an unforgettable set out in the Mojave desert at the legendary Pappy & Harriet’s, for the LEVITATION Sessions streaming series.

The set was recorded and a live album is now being pressed by Precision Record Pressing in 3 limited editions for The Reverberation Appreciation Society record label.

OSEES and the label are donating 100% of proceeds to independent music venues. Music venues have been hit particularly hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, with many in danger of closing their doors permanently. Unfortunately some have already been lost, prompting rally cries from many in the industry. OSEES lead vocalist John Dwyer told fans:

Without them, there is no us… so this is a small token of appreciation and a grassroots effort to lend a helping hand in their time of need. Take care, be well and keep your eyes on the horizon.

Proceeds from the NIVA Edition (O12 & O14, A Side/B Side) will be donated to the National Independent Venue Association’s Emergency Relief Fund. The fund has been launched to raise money for the most vulnerable venues, and keep them afloat during these unprecedented times for live music.

Special editions have also been created for two independent clubs, dear to the band:

Zebulon Edition (T14 & N4, Half/Half with O4 + O5 & T14 Splatter) – benefits Zebulon in Los Angeles, California

Hotel Vegas Edition (O14 & N6, Half/Half with N6 + BK Splatter) – benefits Hotel Vegas in Austin, Texas

A bonus 7″ pressed on Tan (T14) colored vinyl is included with all three editions and pre-orders have now sold out, with copies due to ship on March 5. The label have hinted that a future re-press might be on the cards, so watch this space!
