News: 3 x New Automatic Presses
By Simon Daley

Precision Record Pressing is proud to announce an expansion of vinyl record pressing capacity at our manufacturing facility in Burlington, Ontario.
Three new fully automatic presses have been manufactured by our parent company and global vinyl leader, GZ Media. The new additions were installed in August alongside our existing fleet of 10 semi-automatic presses and are now running at full capacity.
Our business is growing, and we are adding significant capacity to maintain our standard 8-week program and increase our ability to run a higher share of our projects on shorter turnaround times. These can be as fast as four weeks, including Test Pressings, when necessary. Our standard turnaround times will be reduced in the future – stay tuned!
Shawn Johnson, President of Precision Record Pressing
The new automatic presses bring several advancements to the production process and free up capacity for increasingly popular specialty products (picture discs, splatters, multi-color, and custom blends) that run on semi-automatic presses.
All presses operated by Precision Record Pressing are newly built and produce records with the same high level of quality. Both our automatic and semi-automatic presses are subject to the same stringent visual and audio quality control checks throughout the pressing process. This capacity expansion is one element supporting our ongoing mission to “bring vinyl manufacturing into the 21st century”.
